Wooly Dog Down Esther Rose

Born 6/28/14. Polled. Esther is our only remaining kid sired by our buck Wood Bridge Farm Creighton, and through the kindness of Wooly Dog Down Farm she got to come to us. She has turned out beautifully, and we are lucky to have her. Negative for CAE and Johne’s Feb. 2016 MSU.

Esther, oh my goodness, she is too smart for her own good. Everything has to be latched, she can figure out all the doors. It’s kind of fun.

During her first pregnancy she aborted at 2 months along, (my fault I moved her to NC). The fetuses looked like little pink baby birds. She cried and cried for her kids. Just so happened, I had a bottle kid I really didn’t want to deal with, so I stuck them together. Esther became completely devoted to the baby, AND she came into milk, raising that baby to a big fat healthy doe!
