Doe born 5/18/14. Rooibee is 17.68% inbred total, and 12.5% on her sire Sandstorm. I’m so proud of how Rooibee is shaping up, and I am pleased with her first freshening udder. I’m very glad we did this tight breeding on her sire because we lost him in 2014.
3rd freshening, 15 hours fill, 9 days fresh, 1.3lbs milk. Did not milk down enough to bother with a photo, possibly still post kidding edema. We’ll try Ruby again when her body has recovered more.
Her second freshening udder, large orifices, milks out fast and is easy on the hands.
