Sales Policy

Reservations: All sales are made on a first come first serve basis unless a reservation has been made.  No money is required to reserve. Reservations can be placed on any of our planned breedings.  I will notify you when the kids are born and give you an opportunity to place a deposit on the kid reserved for you.  If for some reason the pregnancy does not come to term or the doe does not settle, your reservation can be rolled to the next repeat breeding or placed on another breeding of your choice.

Deposits:   No deposits are taken on kids until they are born; at that time if the kids are healthy the first person on the reservation list will be notified and must respond to me within 48 hours of the email being sent.  If no response is made within 48 hours or the potential buyer does not wish to purchase the kid (there is no obligation to buy if you have a reservation), then the next person on the reservation list will be notified.

A deposit to hold the kid will be required within a week of your reserved kid being born. A deposit of $50 for a buck and $100 for a doe will hold a kid for 2 months, after which the buyer must pickup or start paying board of $2 per day.  Deposits can be made to me via PayPal.

Deposits are typically non-refundable, except for illness or death of the kid while still in my possession. In that instance, the deposit may be directed toward another kid or refunded, at the buyers choice.  If you change your mind and back out, the deposit is not refundable.

Pricing: The prices listed will be honored for those having reservations; otherwise prices may change after kids are born and evaluated.

Payment: We accept Paypal, checks and cash. No money orders. Only cash will be accepted at time of pickup, absolutely no checks. Checks must have at least 2 weeks to clear before pickup. If paying via Paypal, please contact me BEFORE sending payment for specific instructions.

Medical: All kids will be dam raised (unless previous arrangements have been made) and will be weaned at about 2-4 months of age depending on the kid’s maturity and sex. All kids will be disbudded, have their first CD/T vaccination, dewormed, tattooed and feet trimmed by the time of sale.  Bucks will be wethered unless deemed exceptional breeding quality. Veterinary health certificates (optional, but required by law for interstate travel) and fees charged by the Veterinarian for the farm call and animal examination and/or tests are the responsibility of the buyer.

Disbudding: If you do not want your baby disbudded, you will need to let me know immediately as bucklings are disbudded at approximately 4 days of age. For horned babies you will need to pay the total price at time of birth, instead of a deposit only.

Pickup: We prefer pickup to be made at the farm. A deposit of $50 for a buck kid and $100 for a doe kid will hold an animal for 60 days in which the buyer must arrange for pickup. If previous arrangements are not made, then a $2.00 a day boarding fee may be applied after 60 days. After 90 days without contact from the buyer then all monies paid will be forfeited and the animal will be placed back up for sale.

Shipping: If at all possible animals must be picked up at the farm, but if you wish to have an animal shipped, you are welcome to provide me with information on an airline in my area that will transport livestock. All associated costs will be the buyers responsibility, such as my time, fuel to the airport, shipping crate, and health certificate.

Transport:
I will transport your animal for free to any show that I will already be attending.  If we have a trip planned during the time your animal is ready for pickup then transport may be arranged for a reasonable fee. Otherwise you will need to arrange your own transport.

Guarantee:
We sell animals that are healthy and sound at the time of pick-up.  We cannot guarantee that they will mature as you or we would expect. We cannot guarantee their mature conformation, stature, udder attachment, show ability, quality of their offspring, etc. There are many factors involved in the development of an animal including feeding, health care maintenance, parasite control, housing, breeding, stress. We do no take responsibility for how a kid you purchase from us ultimately matures. We will not refund for the illness, death or infertility of an animal once it leaves our property, unless provided with an official letter from a licensed veterinarian stating the animal was genetically defective. In that case you will be issued a full purchase price refund minus transportation or health certificate costs.
